Why You Should Elope in Hawaii - Ohau, Maui, Kauai and Big Island, Hawaii
If you’re considering eloping in Hawaii it probably means one of two things. The first would be that you’ve started the planning process for a larger wedding and you have decided to escape and elope OR you’re a couple who loves travel and adventure, and can’t imagine having to say your vows in front of 300 people so you’d rather invest in a honeymoon spent exploring and relaxing. My list of reasons for eloping in Hawaii is extensive, but if I’d have to narrow it down to a few things, it’s these:
The Scenery
The scenery in Hawaii is MAGICAL! There’s no other way to put it. Not only do each of the Hawaiian Islands have their own set of unique diversities when it comes to topography, but each Island is also unique in it’s own right. Maui, Oahu, Kauai and the Big Island all have gorgeous backdrops for eloping and it really boils down to what type of scenery and activities you’re interested in while you honeymoon.
The Marriage License
The marriage license process can be a little bit tricky in Hawaii. Each island has it’s own unique set of rules for obtaining (or picking up) your marriage license. We’ll walk you through all of these steps, and more, if you’re choosing us to help plan your elopement in Hawaii.
The Culture
Hawaiian culture brings one word to mind, “Ohana.” Ohana means “family” and this is exactly how everyone on the islands always makes you feel. Warm, inviting and eager to share their beautiful cultures and traditions with everyone who is lucky enough to visit such a beautiful place.
