Q: How many elopements have you facilitated?
A: to be honest, I've lost count. i have worked in the events industry for over 15 years, and I’ve planned several hundred elopements (and counting) since starting my business in 2011. I’ve also been a part of planning bigger weddings, as i used to own and operate a company planning large scale weddings and events. it’s no secret that i love elopements!
Q: what makes hawaii elopements different?
A: i’d say our biggest difference is that I greatly care about details. beautiful florals that have been well thought out and artistically made. a ceremony that reflects you, the perfect timing to catch the “golden hour” before sunset. amazing photography and photographers to capture your day with photos to last a lifetime. through my years of experience, I’ve learned that these are the details that make your elopement extraordinary instead of ordinary.
Q: what is included in our package?
A: refer to our packages page for more information on our inclusions and the a la carte options we have available.
Q: do we need a permit?
A: yes! and we’re happy to secure all of this for you ahead of time. no need to worry about all these extra steps and legalities, as we have you covered! we are an approved permit holder through the DLNR on all islands of Hawaii.
Q: Can we add on extra hours of photography?
A: yes! we are happy to add on additional time for photography. you can opt to add on 1 hour of photography at the time of booking.
Q: when do you offer ELOPEMENTS?
A: we offer elopements year round, based on our availability. if you have a specific date in mind, don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’d be happy to make your elopement dreams come true!
Q: do I get to pick my own flowers?
A: the simple answer is, yes. we have three styles of bouquets that we offer. to personalize this, we allow you to choose one of those styles, your color palette and any particular flowers that you dislike may be specified. from there we give our florist artistic control over the finished product. we use a mixture of seasonal, local and imported florals that can withstand the unique climate in Hawaii.
Q: how do we secure a date with you?
A: we require a signed contract and deposit to hold your date. get more of the details on our process page here.
Q: do you offer vow renewals?
A: we do offer vow renewals. Hawaii is the perfect location for couples who wish to renew their vows in a beautiful setting. our packages can be modified to accommodate vow renewals. the same fees and a la carte options apply to vow renewals as with our regular packages.
Q: what is your favorite location?
A: if i had to pick, i’d say my favorite locations are ALL of them. i recommend considering what types of scenery you would like as your backdrop. feel free to look through our galleries and blog to see what photos speak to you the most, and i recommend basing your decision on that. there are no bad options!
